Sandra Suarez

Sandra Suarez serves as the Senior Manager of Planning and Development for Yakima Valley Farm Workers Clinic. In this position, she leads a team responsible for grant writing, conducting site specific and regional needs assessments and market analysis, research, and government relations at local, state and federal levels. She also serves as the Federal Qualify Health Center Representative on the Board of Directors for Greater Columbia Accountable Community of Health, which works to bring together leaders from multiple health sectors around the state with a common interest in improving health and health equity. Prior to switching her career focus to health care in 2005, Sandra worked in higher education working with students of color, first generation students, differently abled students, and LGBTQIA+ students. She earned her B.S. in Political Science and Economics from Western Washington University and her M. A. in Health Administration from A.T. Still University.
